What is adaptive clothing?
Adaptive clothing is specially designed apparel that makes dressing easier for people with physical disabilities, mobility limitations, or medical conditions. Instead of traditional buttons and zips, it uses velcro closures, side openings, front-open designs, and tearaway seams — so dressing is possible without bending, lifting arms, or applying force.
Who is Aasra adaptive clothing designed for?
Aasra's clothing is designed for post-surgery patients (hip, knee, shoulder, abdominal), elderly individuals, stroke and Parkinson's patients, wheelchair users, bedridden patients, and catheter users — anyone who needs easier dressing in daily life.
Is Cash on Delivery (COD) available?
Yes. COD is available across India on all Aasra products. No advance payment needed.
What is the price range?
Aasra's adaptive clothing starts from ₹999. Free shipping is available on orders above ₹999.
What sizes are available?
Aasra's adaptive clothing comes in sizes S to 3XL. The relaxed fits are designed to accommodate casts, braces, and medical devices. Refer to the size guide for exact measurements. If the wearer has had surgery in the last six weeks, order one size larger than their usual size to account for post-surgical swelling.
How do I wash Aasra's adaptive clothing?
All Aasra products are made from 100% soft cotton. Machine wash cold or lukewarm (up to 30°C) on a gentle cycle. Close all velcro strips before washing — this is the single most important step to keep the closures gripping long-term. Use mild detergent; avoid fabric softener and bleach. Line dry in shade. Never let a hot iron touch the velcro strips.
Do you deliver outside India?
Currently Aasra delivers only within India. We are working on international shipping — please contact us at aasra.connect@gmail.com to be added to the waitlist.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 2 days of delivery on unused, unwashed products in original packaging. Contact us at aasra.connect@gmail.com or WhatsApp +91-9211084452 to initiate a return. A flat fee of ₹300 per product is deducted to cover logistics. Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.
Is adaptive clothing available in Indian ethnic styles?
Yes. Aasra specialises in adaptive Indian ethnic wear — including front-open velcro kurtis and nighties designed specifically for Indian women. Our designs look like regular ethnic wear with the adaptive features built in discreetly.
